Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

vehicle reposession

Can my vehicle be reposessed if I never took out a loan on it? I have a clean title and my car was stolen. I reported it to my insurance and they haven't paid. This was 11 months ago and I never signed a contract with anyone. What can I do? I need to be paid by my insurance since the car was never recovered. Am I correct? Will an atty represent me? Please help.

Re: vehicle reposession

Not sure what you mean by "repossessed"? Did they recover the car and not give it back to you?

Never signed a contract with anyone for what?
