Re: assualt

The best way to handle this situation is to be proactive.

1. Go to the local precinct and ask if a complaint has been made against you. If so, ask to make a statement in response.

2. Make a statement that indicates that you werte attacked and that you were defending yourself. DO NOT INCLUDE LOTS OF DETAILS. Just indicate that you are the 'real victim' and that she was part of a group ganging up on you.

Your best defense is to try to avoid having the DA file charges.

3. If charges are filed, get a lawyer. Never interact with the criminal justice system without a lawyer.

If you want to meet with me, I can help you draw up your 'statement'. You should have a lawyer help you with this. I would meet and draft it for you for no fee.

The only perfect outcome for you will be if the DA does not file any charges against you.
