Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I was convicted of possesion of a controlled substance in the 7th degreee. An empty baggie. In the state of NY it is a misdermeanor. I was put on probation and violated it. What is going to happen? How much jail time am i looking at. I am a first time offender

It somewhat depends on what the VOP (violation of probation) was for. Depending on the severity of the VOP, it could range from a fine and community service to a few days in jail.
