Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Hello,\n\nI have had some complications with my driving record and currently I have an uninsured vehicle in my name, a suspended license because of it, with outstanding tickets before that happened. I\'m almost certain there\'s a bench warrant on my head and I\'d like to have a lawyer go to court for me, instead of appearing myself. Can I have a lawyer do that for me or should I just appear myself?
