NY 18 yr old arrested for writing and cashing checks on ex girlfriends account. what might the penalty be?
has pending bad check case in another court, is currently on supervised probation for theft of services(youthful offender) has been in and out of trouble since 16, example: falsified a police report -community service, violating a no harassment order- 1 year conditional discharge. all sealed accept pending case. He has spent small bouts of time in county jail - 3 days - 6 days - 9 days. how likely is it that he will do state time?

This sounds like it might be a felony forgery charge in which case he may well do state time especially if as you say he is currently on supervised probation.
