sentencing info needed

If sentenced to 8 to 12 years how much time are you really facing 8yrs or 12yrs or between??

There isn't an indeterminent sentence of 8-12. If you are facing 8 and you are being sentenced to a range you must get a high end of either 24 (for non PFO's or 16 for PFO's. If you are sentenced to a determinent sentence of 8 years you are facing a minimum of 6 years and just over 10 months.

you would be facing the lowest number as a minimumm where you would qualify for parole at that point, and the higher number would be the max time you would serve before they wold have to realease you...
