Age

I was wondering how old you have to be to move out? If i get a job at 16 can i move out at 17 as long as i stay in school and keep a job

The law is 18. But you can apply to the court for 'emancipation'. In addition, if your parents approve, 16 will work!

You can move out prior to the age of 18 only if you have either parental approval or a Court order.
