Legal Question in Family Law in New York

change on Birth Certificate

I am interested in changeing my birthdate. As in the way someone ''legally'' changes their name. My birthday is in the dead of winter and I absolutely hate it !! Can I legally , permanently change my birthday to be forevermore celebrated at the date of my choosing? This is not a joke, I am a mature married woman, mother of two. But if I could I would like to start proceedings to have a ''summer'' birthday. If NY will not allow it, then out of curiosity is there another state that would? Thanks.

Very Seriously-- J. R.

Re: change on Birth Certificate

As far as I'm aware, no state will allow you to do this. Why not simply celebrate your birthday when you want to?
