Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Change of Venue

After getting a court decision to move to MD from NY with child, when does a change of venue occur? Is it automatic or do I need to file? Could this change be perceived as more advantageous to me the mother?

NY is Best for Venue.

NY has some of the greatest laws for custodial parents, I do not know MD law but doubt it is better. Venue changes with residence of child, but you must check with MD family court for residence rules.

Before you can litigate in MD, you must meet the requirements for jurisdiction in MD.
