Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My fianc� and I have been living together since july of 2003. Our son was born in 2004 he will be 7 in feb. I have been a stay home mom with no income. He has laid for everything. He owned our home 3 other homes and collect rent from those and 2 apartments. Also owns his own business and collect 4,000 a month in retirement pension. He also has 50,000 in retirement savings. I have not even a retirement plan, job or anything!!!
Let's just say he has always controlled everything.
I am afraid to go anywhere, fearing that I will only get child support and can't afford my bills or anything. I live in NY and have been with him since 2001, but only living with him since 7/2003.
There's is no common law in NY!
Help!!!!
