Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Do I have to give my boyfriend's atty a copy of my house deed?

ex wife of my live in boyfriend is taking him back to court for more child support. Boyfriend's attorney has asked for a copy of my house deed. Do I have to give it to him? Can I be legally responsible for paying child support for his kid? We are living together- not married. Obviously I have not adopted this child.

Unless you have been subpoenaed, you do not have to do anything.

The deed however is a public document and the attorney can get if from the county clerk.
