Jail time
Im going through a divorce and due to a medical disability i am out of work and seeking early retirement. At this time i have no money coming in and not able to pay my court ordered obligations to my ex wife(her house,car,insurance,phone,taxes, and her maintaince of 200.00) since Nov 2005. The courts are throwing me in jail for 6 months beginning March 30. My lawyer is useless. Is there any help or advise out there as to what i can do in short notice? Im a 70% disabled veteren with work limitations.

However, there should be a remedy for this problem. Write out you medical problems and limitations. Get a statement from your doctor to confirm this and get this information to the judge.
It is unlikely the judge will put a disabled man into prison for missing payments over a six month period.
