Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am Jamaican. I got married to an Nigerian Born American Citizen. I found out after a year that he wasnt who he said he was. At the start of the relationship, he said he was an architect and pursuing a masters in architecture. I later found out that he drives a yellow cab and he doesn't even have a GED. I found out further that he lied about practically everything else even his parents. I do not know the man whom I married. I am at the point where I want a divorce. How can I get this done. Can I sue him for emotional distress? We have been married for two years. Am I entitled to alimony?

Yes you can get a divorce, you are probably not going to get any maintenance but the fraud might convince a court to do something. You should talk directly to an attorney.
