paternity

my ex and i went to family court because he filed a paternity petition. i am the respondent and asked for a dna test. my ex wants to withdrawl the petition and cancel the dna test wich is fine with me. will he be able to or is there something i have to do?

His request for a withdrawal of the petition must be granted by the Family Court Judge.
