Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My son lived in Las Vegas, but now lives in N.Y.. He pays chid support which each month is taken from his pay. He is a driver for the teamsters union which may send him on maybe three to four diffrent jobs a week. The court was taken each week from one job now they take the same amout from each job. He will not have enofe money to live on. What does a person do he called vegas and the DA said there is nothing he can do. Help Doris

Child support is calculated based upon yearly income. Your son should take proof of his 2008 income, and proof of 2009 income and go to the Family Court to request a downward modification. He may be entitled to a reduction if he is paying support on a higher income than he actually earned.
