my son mother is seeking custody of son i have full custody. he wants to live with mother who was an addict she still takes alot of prescribed pills. he want to change schools his mother is in different school district. he is doing great now in school if he changes schools i dont have a good feeling

You didn't disclose your son't age. Depending on his age, the child can voice his preference on the custodial parent. However, if there are safety and security concerns because of the mother's drug problem, the judge may ignore his preference. You may consider hiring an attorney to guide you through this process. In the alternative, you can request a guardian ad litem to protect the interest of your son and a home study. If there are drug problems the guardian ad litem and home study should disclose it.
