Re: Submit to NY jurisdiction?

Your question is not very clear. A person can submit to the jurisdiction of a State in a variety of different ways, but primarily by entering the State or committing an act that has an impact in that State. If someone is forced to travel to another state to respond to a fraudulent legal document, then a lawsuit can be brought against the wrongdoer for abuse of process. In such a case, lost earnings, travel expenses and legal fees may be recovered. For general information on a variety of legal subjects, please go to www.VeneziaLawFirm.com
