Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I have a toddler son that is 2 years old. I have a junior and senior in high school and would like to relocate to be close to my father and brother in Florida in 2 years. My baby's father lives 30 miles from me and we have never lived together and our baby lives with me 100% of the time. We have nothing in the court system. He sees him less than 20 hours all week, due to the fact he has 4 older sons that he has many events and sports going on with. I want to know what process I need to do to start planning for a move in 2 years time. Thank you!

The easiest way would be to obtain his written consent. Short of that, you will have to demonstrate to the Court why it would be in the best interest of the child (not you) to effectively eliminate his father's visitation. Every child should have the opportunity to be raised by both a father and mother.
