should I sue a drugstore for giving my 85 year old mother a wrong dosage of a prescription for high blood presure.

Yes, your grandmother can sue if she suffered any adverse effects from the worng prescription being given.

The question is whether or not you should sue. The question is whether or not the damages necessary warrant a lawsuit. What were her adverse effects? What condition was she in before the wrong dosage was given. People make mistakes all the time. Lawsuits are serious and cost time and money (your time, the attorneys time and the attorneys money). Therefore, I only recommend lawsuits if your grandmother was seriously injured.

Please also note that lawsuits involving older folks and medical malpractice are very difficult and worth much less then those involving younger people. Just something to think about.
