Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

wrongful termination

My wife was fired from her job because her cash draw was allegedly short. they can not provide proof of this. furthermore she has worked with several different managers and her draw was always perfect. They hired a new manager who has had no experience and has trouble with math and now her draw is coming up short. Her manager says that she has been written up twice for this but they have no proof of this either. She has always been at work on time and done her job properly. Is there any thing that can be done?

Re: wrongful termination

If your wife is an "at will" employee and the discharge has nothing to do with her sex, race, or religion, there is nothing your wife can do about the termination of employment.
