Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

i signed an affadavit of support for my relatives to migrate to the us. they are in the us presently but i want to withdraw that affadavit. can you give some advise

If you were the petitioner, you cannot withdraw the affidavit. If you were not the petitioner, your obligation remains until the immigrant sponsored has been credited for 40 quarters toward social security payments or becomes a U.S. citizen.
