legal malpractice

I HAD A WATER DAMAGE TO MY HOME 2001- filed 06-17-01, hired atty 08-15-01, never filed the sworn proof of loss at all. FILED the lawsuit one day before time expired.

Has your insurance company officially disclaimed coverage? What is the status and nature of the lawsuit filed? How much is involved?
