Audio

If using an audio clip from an already copywrited material underneath a new audio track and selling it commercially, what is your obligation to the original creator? Thank you!

The work can be considered a derivative work depending on the scope of the new product. If that is the case then you will owe the original copyright holder a fee for the license in order to use the material. If an agreement is not reached you may be forced to stop selling the new work.
