Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in New York

Im 16 years old and my boyfriend is 19 years old but my mom dont want us together so she said if she sees us together shell call the cops on him. What would the police do if that happened??

it is illegal for a 19 year old to be having sex with anyone under 17. If there is evidence that he is having sex with you, she can file a complaint against him for stautory rae which is a serious criminal felony offense.
