Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Can they evict me?

I have a small dog about 4-6lbs and I have had him for 1 year+. Many other people have dogs and almost everyone in my building knows I have him; The janitors of my building knows also. My dog is house trained and rarely barks. Someone told the Landlord and now after a year they are trying to evict me. Do I have a shot in court to fight this?

If you live in NYC, depending on the breed of dog, and whether or not the dog has a violent history, you can fight an eviction.
