Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

I live in a mobile home park where I pay rent for a lot. During a recent heavy snowstorm, a large tree fell onto a shed I have on the lot and barely missed my mobile home. Finally got in touch with the landlord (he is on vacation in Fl) and he sent his brother over to look. Claims tree isn't his nor is the fence it also took down. Thinks he knows who owns said tree but that party is also in Florida and neither will return before the end of the month. Problem: Who is supposed to do the clean up of this mess that fills my entire back yard ? It is my yard only under the terms that I pay rent on the lot but the landlord actually owns it doesn't he? and isn't he responsible even if it isn't his tree? Thanks for the help

Who mowes and cleans the yard under the lease agreement? If it is you, then you are responsible. If it is the landlord, he is responsible.

Mike.
