Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
im about to move out of my apt and i expect my idiot roommate to not pay me my whole security deposit because he wont clean and blame it on me. my question is should i take to partial payment and sue hime for the rest or not take any and sue him for all of it

Take partial payment and sue for remainder. Make sure that you are not taking the payment in "full satisfaction" of amount owed.
