Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in New York

Judge's mistake

A Family Court judge made a gross mistake that led to great suffering of our family, including small children. This mistake was so obvious that after one of later hearings, a clerk walked me to the elevator, nervously apologizing for it. Yet it was too late: the damage was done. It left incurable psychological scars on our children. I know judges are immune and protected. Yet in our case the mistake was so gross that in my view the judge has to be disciplined somehow and, at least, to be exposed before the public as an irrational figiure who is not capable of being a judge. I am not vindictive, I just see it as my civil duty to protect the future potential victims of this figure. Are the judges like ancient kings, immune and protected from anything, or there is no possibility to do anything?

Check this site:

You should be able to obtain some degree of satisfaction there. Also consider contacting your local city or county elected representatives. You never know which committees s/he sits on, and how they may help with their various contacts.
