Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

if someone is moving out of your house and have friends helping them and one of them get hurt what can happen to the home owner. and what can i do to protect myself from damages to my house.

It would depend on how the accident occurred. If there was a defect upon the property the owner may be responsible in negligently maintaining the premises. A home owner's liability policy may offer protection against such liability.
