Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Person A died on a Saturday in May 2012. A relative of Person A was in an accident while driving Person A's car the next day (a Sunday). The relative was not insured. Can the Executor of Person A's estate be sued for personal injury?

If the relative was driving with permission, the owner's, through his Executor, is responsible.

Permission and consent to drive the car is the key to coverage. If the driver had it from the Estate, the loss should be covered. Best, M. E. Zuller
