Re: personal injury

A mediation is an informal proceeding where both parties discuss they matter with a neutral third-party - the mediator. After the initial discussion, 1 party privately discusses the case with the mediator, then the other party. After completing the private discussions, the mediator will try to help both sides come to an agreement. Sometimes the mediator makes recommendations, sometimes s/he simply tries to help the parties "meet in the middle". However it is handled, you know the results by the time the mediation is completed.
