Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Coop apartment

I bought a coop apt about 1 ago and the Real Estate agent never disclosed the fire in this unit. Now, about two months ago, a pipe broke in the walls and my floors and walls were damaged. I called the property manager and he said the insurance company is responsible and they said that the building manager or building insurance company is responsible. Who is?
