Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

The mortgage company we were using lost their license and ability to operate any longer in my state . I have no idea how to clear this matter or where to pay my mortgage. I have gone to my local city hall and it still shows my mortgage being held by the origainal company which is now non-exsistent what should I do
