Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I'm purchasing a two Family house with a partner. I'm going to live in one apartment with my family and my partner is going to live in the other apartment. All expenses will be split in half. Are we entitled to all landlord tax deductions?

The question you are asking here seems more suitable to be posed to your accountant rather than an attorney. However, when purchasing any real property it is highly recommended to retain the services of a lawyer to protect your rights and ensure that all proper procedures are followed.

We have substantial experience handling these types of matters and you are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
