Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

we want to rent my sisters home for a term of five years with the option to buy and stated she may not sell it in next 5 years...wrote lease from template and have spots for signatures...how do we make this lease legal?

I don't think it's wise to have non-lawyers drafting legal documents. You've apparently already decided, however, that this is what you wish to do. I'm not sure what you are asking when you say you want to make it legal. If you want to make the document effective, you would have it signed by all parties. But, as I cautioned, it's unwise to draft a document that has provisions that you don't understand.
