Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Tenant From Hell

My tenant has cost me over $12,000.00 in building fines after stealing a key to the unfinished basement. She calls police and fire dept. on daily basis to say I am harassing her and she throws away other tenants mail and takes photos of them. She is part of a govt. domestic violence program and has moved her husband in just recently. My question is this.. Do I have any recourse at all aside from eviction? She has made my life just miserable along with other tenants who no longer want to live there because of her.

Re: Tenant From Hell

You can not remove her without a warrant of eviction from court. Start the process now as it can drag on for months!!
