Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

1180B speeding ticket -states work zone but was not

I was issued a speeding ticket (1180B). Under Arrest Type it state ''W-work zone,'' however the incident was not in a work zone or near one (I drove through twice to double check). Does this mean that the ticket claims that it was in a work zone? Although I was speeding, NY has stiffer penalties for work zone vs. not. What is the best thing to do in this case?

Plead not guilty....go back and take photos..I do not know where the incident occured. In some jurisdictions the troopers act as the DA..in others the DA IS the DA.

Good Luck
