Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Dear Sir/Madam:

What should a beneficiary receive from an executor of a living trust after the death of the trustee, and can I have legal representation with me during the reading or distribution of assets to make sure I'm not cheated, for I might not understand everything in the living trust?

I don't trust that the executor will do the right thing, so I thank you for this opportunity for any assistance you can lend to the situation.

Sincerely.

A living trust does not have an Executor. Someone needed to apply to become a successor trustee, and this may have been the Executor of the decedent's estate. You can retain counbsel to assist you, and can sue for an accounting before the distribution.
