Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
Hi, i just found out that my deceased father in Nigeria left a will naming me as one of the beneficiaries. He died 10 yrs ago and i just found out he is my father and i am named in his will which my mother has a copy of and has kept it hidden from me. How do i go about claiming this inheritance assuming it's still there since he died so long ago. i currently live in the US

Assuming this is not one of the Nigerian inheritance schemes that has been going around, I suggest contacting the Nigerian Mission to the US in New York City, I might also suggest contacting the US Counsel in Nigeria who may be able to get you some information.
