Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

My grandmother passed away 3 years ago. My mother passed away 1 month after. My aunt who was my grandmothers executor, told me I was entitled to nothing but a bracelet. She also needed my mothers social security number. How will I know if I was entitled or not?

You need to read your grandmother's will to determine what you may be entitled to. The will is on file in the Surrogate's Court located within the County where your grandmother resided when she died.
