Can a husband disinherit his wife when there is a will and children.? Can he hide his assets from his wife?

A widow has certain statutory rights to prevent her from being disinherited, such as the Widow's election to take against the Will. There is no requirement to disclose all assets unless there is a divorce or death. If you file joint income tax returns and the assets are income producing, their locations should be listed in the returns.
