Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

Do I have to use my time?

I am returning to work after being out on compensation for 2&1/2 months.

When I told my boss I had a Doctors appointment ( for my injury) coming up she told me to put in for it.

Do I have to use my sick time for this appointment?
