Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Zealand (Aotearoa)

Wills and what happens

my brother wrote a will which has been granted probate, his twin and a sister are executors of the Will. The will stated that the assets be shared equally amongst his surviving family. the sister and the twin have decided that the twin should inherit the house and contents as well a share of the insirance money and it seems that the law is on their side in this case.

what are my rights as a beneficiary?

Re: Wills and what happens

It is not possible to answer this question without knowing what aseets were to be dividing among the family, and how many family members there are.

You should instruct a lawyer to represent you in any claim that you may have. If you do not you will probably lose out.
