if a person has been banned from entering the UK, can he still travel to the US for a holiday even though the ban from the UK began after he got his US visa?

It really depends on the reason the person was banned from entering the UK and the Immigration rules of the US, I would advise that the person seek proper counsel from a US Attorney or Immigration consultant.
