I have just packaged a television reality show which will celebrate the cultural diversity of Nigeria, and would like to approach corporate organisations for sponsorship. How do I ensure a legal protection of my right over the innovation?

Copyright Protection: You should make an application to notify the Nigerian Copyright Commission of the existence of you copyright in this particular reality show.
Trade mark protection: You should register the name of this particular programme with the Trademark registry in Nigeria
Non-disclosure/ Confidentiality Agreement: You should also consider entering into a non disclosure/confidentiality agreement prior to or during negotiations with the sponsor organization
