Legal Question in Bankruptcy in North Carolina

I am in chapter 13 and have been making payments for 4 months, and I have just been awarded Sociol Security Disability and have received back pay in a lump some, can the bankruptcy court take the lump sum or is it except in North Carolina?

El Cajon Bankruptcy Lawyer It may be a matter of income rather than exemption, although your Disability is exempt. It depends on what your other income is and what your plan is.
