Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

I had a DUI in NC from 1998 BAC of .04. I live in MD how can I take careof this? Is there a statute of limitations? Can I pay a fine?

If you pay the fine, you are admitting guilt and will lose your license to drive in NC and then in your state as well. When does your Maryland license expire? There is no statute of limitations.
