Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

A few nights ago, I was pulled over for "swerving lanes." As it turns out, I had two friends in the car and we were going to another friend's house to smoke marijuana. The police officer smelled weed and searched all three of us. He gave each of us the opportunity to hand over anything we had before he searched the car. I handed over my glass pipe. My two friends handed over their marijuana. I got a parephenalia charge and my two friends have posession charges, each under half an ounce. What is the best I can hope for, for myself, as well as my friends? For the record, I didn't get a DUI but I couldn't find a better category.
