Should I let my daughter go with her father?

We have joint custody, with my daugher primarily residing with me. We have no visitation ''rules'' set up in our divorce agreement. He gets only sees her once a year.(for the past 2 yrs) He is now wanting to drive nine hours to my home to get her for one month. He is driving up with a ''buddy''. They will have to stay overnight at a hotel. I dont feel comfortable letting my six year old daugher go with an a father see really dont know and his ''buddy''. Do I have any rights to tell him he cant come get her?

Thank you for your question. Yes I would certainly believe you could tell him "No". He has a right to ask the court to set reasonable visitation for him and I think the court will grant him reasonable visitation. What is "reasonable" depends on too many factors that I have no knowledge about. Apparently you believe this is not reasonable visitation. If so then stick to your guns and tell him no.
