Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

My husband divorced me in April 2010. He left me in December 2008. I stayed in the house for 6 months and could not cope with the memories. He is living in the home. I retained an attorney, but nothing was accompolished for me. He has house and travel trailor that are both half mine. I did not receive any spousal support or 1/2 of his retirement. We had 1 mediation, with no results, now my attorney says she can no longer help me. We were married 28 years and I received nothing. I am without employment now. Am I entitled to anything. The reason he left was because he didn't want to be married anymore.

Is an "Equitable Distribution" claim still pending in your divorce case? If so, you need a lawyer to help you with it.

If an ED claim is not pending, then why not? If not, you may need a legal malpractice lawyer.
